Enterprise Architecture Superintendent

Job Summary

Guide the process of planning and designing the IT capabilities of an enterprise in order to meet desired organizational objectives.

 

Responsabilities

  • Defines the overall standards and direction of architecture in the application domain within Azule’s IT Organisation, with appropriate oversight and enforcement;
  • Designs and supervises the development of Azule’s IT Cloud Strategy;
  • Implements Azule IT Cloud solutions, IoT Platform, and services according to the technical designs and blueprints;
  • Establishes an end-to-end vision of Azule’s overall application design and provide technology leadership to the application architecture in terms of focus, technical direction, and breadth of coverage of relevant technologies.
  • Ensures that the application architecture strategy in alignment with business goals;
  • Maintains the processes and procedures for ensuring reliability and quality of Azule’s Cloud infrastructure to support the business.
  • Supervises the adoption of technical solutions to enable the effective monitoring and observability of business and technical applications (traditional, containerised or serverless);
  • Analyses current Azule IT ecosystem application architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements;
  • Ensures a transition plan and strategy from the current to the future application architecture;
  • Ensures a conceptual and detailed architecture for the development of applications and oversee the evolution of that architecture as the platform is deployed across the entire Azule organisation;
  • Ensures that methods to integrate systems extend and interact across Azuleja's organisational and functional lines;

 

Requirements

  • Professional Cloud Solution Architect (or similar).
  • CISSP Information System Security Archtecture Professional (or similar).
  • Network Architect Certification (any technology)

 

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Systems Technology
  • 10-years work experience in IT Roles.
  • 5 Year work experience as IT architect.

Governance

Azule Energy is an incorporated joint venture (IJV) between BP p.l.c. and Eni SpA. bp and Eni each holding a 50% share. Azule Energy operates in Angola under different Petroleum agreements which set out its contractual relationship with the Angolan Government (represented by the National Concessionaire). The referred agreements provide the framework for carrying out the Petroleum operations.
